fine art prints types

 

​prints are available in a limited edition series or an â€‹open edition print.

​

​a limited edition series consists of a fixed number of prints, often unique in coloring, size, or paper type. limited edition prints are each marked with the number of the ndividual print placement within the edition. limited edition prints are more valuable, meaning they cost more.

​

an open edition print is a print that is part of an indefinite series. these prints will not have a number marking, but will still include a handwritten signature, title, and date.

​

fine art print qualities

​

​all fine art giclee prints are inkjet printed with archival pigment inks. paper types are high quality, acid-free and pH-neutral. prints offer stunning color and detail.

 

types of paper used for printing may vary depending on edition. these may include hot or cold press bright paper. giclee prints are created to last a lifetime when taken care of. tips for care are included by the artist.

order processing and shipping

​

large prints may require extra processing time. the length of time will be shared on the listing. for questions about shipping speed or to request an expedited delivery, please reach out via email at brittbayleyart@gmail.com

 

art print purchases are subject to tax and shipping charges, unless otherwise states. large art prints over 12x16" may be packaged in a durable cardboard tube for safe travel. if you prefer your large print be shipped flat, the option may be requested for an extra fee to cover special handling.

in-person delivery option

​

collectors local to the greater seattle may opt for an in-person delivery, pending approval by the artist. to inquire about this option, please send an email with your city name.

 

place, date, and time will be determined ahead of time, with an attempt to designate a location with equal distance between artist and buyer. hand-offs of artwork will be done in public spaces to ensure the safety of both artist and buyer. payment is required before hand-off, unless otherwise agreed upon.

How do I purchase a piece of artwork?

 

Reach out via email, brittbayleyart@gmail.com, with the title of the painting you are interested in.

Please include your full name, shipping address, and phone number.

 

What happens next?

​

The studio will respond to confirm if the piece is still available, and to provide an estimate for the painting cost, tax, and shipping. An invoice will be sent to you promptly with payment options and total.

 

When will my painting ship?

​

Once the invoice is paid, the painting is yours. Art ships out within two weeks of cleared payment. 

You will be provided with tracking information.

 

"I want a piece but I cannot afford the full price at the moment!"

​

Payment plans are available upon request.

Once the last payment is recieived, the artwork will be shipped to you.

things to note

​

Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen.

Prices listed exclude tax and shipping. This is dependent upon your location. Worldwide shipping is available, and paintings are shipping within 2 weeks of cleared payment. Local pickup in the Seattle area is available upon request.

Depending on the size of the piece, some paintings will be dismantled from the stretcher bars for shipping. The collector is responsible for having the painting stretched onto the bars upon delivery. If a collector would like the piece kept on the bars, a shipping quote can be provided, as this can be costly. The collector is responsible for covering this cost.

All paintings are signed and titled on the back. A handwritten letter from the artist is included with each piece.

All paintings are varnished with a UV protectant.
